Dream Doer Team Mission: Find a Way to Do What You Dream Today
Did you complete today’s mission?
I almost didn’t. I got a little lazy tonight. When I should have been writing my novel, I chose to chill in front of the TV. Not a good success strategy.
I can only be successful as a writer if I take the time to actually write, not spend all my writing time watching stories on TV that other people have written.
However, I knew I wanted to complete my Dream Doer mission. I wasn’t going to let myself go to bed without writing at least one page of my story.
At 10:45pm, I started writing. Thirty minutes later, I had 752 words and four pages. Granted, the quality of the writing is quite terrible, but that’s okay. As long as it gets out of my head and onto the computer, I don’t care how good the writing is. I know I can always improve it in the editing process.
Since I have to be at work at 6:00 tomorrow morning, I’d best get to bed.
Now you know what I did to complete my mission. What did you do to complete yours?
To your dreams,
Bonnie Jean

My dream is still to write a novel – but I have been sidetracked by pressures at work. I will at least write on my blog tonite and will write at least two pages by Sunday, the 17th. I have no idea yet what it will be about – but I will get something on paper.
You are a great encouragement to me in all this.
Excellent! Just taking those small steps everyday is what makes such a BIG difference. Keep plugging along and you’ll find a way to get that novel written.
