It’s Find a Way to Do What You Dream Day!

I know, I know. You have to follow enough rules at home and at school. So when it comes to living your dreams, you want to be rule-free. You want to feel grown-up and have the freedom to make your own choices and do whatever you want. But as strange as this may seem, your dreams need rules. And when you follow these short, simple, easy to remember guidelines of the Dream Doer League, you can find a way to do what you dream.

Rule #1: Be Yourself

You didn’t think this could be a rule, did you? The reason this is the first and most important rule is because if you can’t be yourself, what’s the point of chasing dreams? You certainly won’t be able to do what you dream if you’re trying to be someone you’re not or if you’re trying to please everyone around you rather than standing up for who you are and what you want. That’s why this rule is to use your God-give talents to pursue your dreams.

Rule #2: Be Trustworthy

Be trustworthy. When you’re trustworthy, you live with integrity, you depend on your consistency, you lead by example and you act with wisdom.

Rule #3: Be Passionate

Be passionate. When you’re passionate, you express your passion, you ignite your enthusiasm, you unleash your creativity and you advance toward your dreams with courage.

Rule #4: Be Focused

Be focused. When you’re focused, you are clear about what you want, you concentrate your energy, you free yourself with discipline and you persevere with strength.

Rule #5: Be Involved

Be involved. DO what you dream. Help your friends do what they dream. And actively participate in your family, your church, your school, your community and your world. In other words, TAKE ACTION! Don’t hide. Get out there and get things done. Have fun being you and living your dreams!

When you choose to follow these rules, you’ll start living a fun, exciting, adventurous life. Because when you are yourself, when you are trustworthy, when you are passionate, when you are focused and when you are involved, you are an Unshakable, Unbreakable, Unstoppable Dream Doer who always finds a way to do what you dream.

To help you understand these rules better so that you can do what you dream, future Find a Way Day articles will unpack these rules and explain them in more detail to give you a better idea of how to follow them and be a champion Dream Doer.

Until next time, remember you always find a way to do what you dream when you stick to your strengths.

To your dreams,

Bonnie Jean
